The Change Prophecied

This morning, as I am waiting for my OJT interview at International Pharmaceutical Incorporated, Iam reading a book entitled Seventh-day Adventist Believe(An exposition of fundamental beliefs od the seventh-day adventist). I cannot deny to myself and to everybody that I am a seventh-day adventist member, but you cannot attack my credibility about what is written here.

I just want to share this knowledge I obtain when reading books like this, I am not contented reading only one book, I read several books to support my beliefs. I am confused why there are many christian denomination observes sunday as the day of worship, wherein the Bible clearly written that it is the seventh day(saturday) is the day of rest. And this what I found out why:

In the Bible, through the prophecy of Dan. 7, God reveal his foreknowledge of the change of the day of worship. Daniel's vision shows an attack on God's people and on his law, and this attacking power represented by alittle horn(or beast in revelation 13:1-10) it bring apostasy within the christian church. Arising from the 4th beast in Daniel 7, and becomes a major presenting power after the fall of Rome. This little horn attemps to change the times and laws(Dan 7:25) and this power is very successful in decieving the world.

The prophecy, fits only in one power within christianity, only one religious organization claimes they have prerogatives to modify divine laws. Note what, throughout history, Roman Catholic Authorities claimed: About 1400 A.D. Petrus de Ancharano asserted that "the pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and He acts in the place of God upon the earth...."

The impacts of this claim, was arises during theReformation led by Marthin Luther which claimed the holy Bible and not the tradition of the church was his guide in life. Luther Slogan was SOLA SCRIPTURA-means "Bible and the Bible only", thats why Luther was attack by John Eck one of the defender of the Roman Catholic Church and challenge Luther to observe Sunday too. The council of Trent(1545-1563) Convened by pope to counter the protestantism, Gaspare de Fosso, Achibishop of Reggio brought up this issue again, and says that the authority of the church is illustrated clearly in the Bible, Thats why it is divine.
But the question now is, does the church still maintain this position? The 1977 edition of the "CONVERTS CATHECISM OF CATHOLIC DOCTRINE" contains this series of question and answers:

Q: Which is the Sabbath Day?

A: Saturday is the Sabbath day.

Q: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?

A: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday, because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.

Roman Catholic Scholar John A.O'Brien in his Best seller book "The Faith of Millions" wrote and came to this compelling Conclusions:"Since saturday, not sunday is specified in the bible, is'nt it curious that non-catholic who profess to take their religion directly from the Bible and not from the church, Observe sunday instead of saturday? Yes, of course it is incosistent." He also added that: " the custom of sunday observance rest upon the the authority of the catholic church and not upon an explicit text in the Bible. So that observance remains as a remainder of the mother church from which the non-catholic broke away.

Bretheren, may this fact or message came from God through me will inspire you to further search for the truth through the Bible.

REVERIE(Dreams)

Ive always advocated for dreams. Its not because it is easy to dream and to made it possible. Instead because dreams signify goal, more than anything else. Hope for dreams make us alive, but to be alive alone is not enough. Life after all is not only lie on being alive, but rather how to live a life.

And it is the reason why it is hard to make one's dream come true.

when I was living in my family in Palawan, I was not a morning person. I hated getting up early for some daily chores. When I transfer here in Cebu, I learned to wake up early. It take me sometime to adjust. I thought I can't make it. As the time goes by my body adopts to this kind of situation. And when i found out that I made it that my life will completely pain free. How ridiculous I am to think that getting up early in the morning was the hardest part of my life.

Life is not easy with age, it only get more challenging. Today getting up too early is not a big deal. now I looked back and laughat how my simple childlike mind worked. Being an adult is a nice thing. You can decide on your own and think of your own. Do as I pleased. I would live my dreams and I would be the success I always believe I was going to be. God said, there is time for everything. There are times of happiness there are times of sorrow. If ever you find contentment in your life. Even when you look on past and future but remember you always live in the present. Life satisfaction does'nt mean giving up your dream.

The secret is to never give up on your dreams.

Caffeine

AHA Recommendation
Caffeine has many metabolic effects. For example,

It stimulates the central nervous system.
It releases free fatty acids from adipose (fatty) tissue.
It affects the kidneys, increasing urination, which can lead to dehydration.

Caffeine is in coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate and some nuts. Whether high caffeine intake increases the risk of coronary heart disease is still under study.
Many studies have been done to see if there's a direct link between caffeine, coffee drinking and coronary heart disease. The results are conflicting. This may be due to the way the studies were done and confounding dietary factors. However, moderate coffee drinking (1–2 cups per day) doesn't seem to be harmful.
Caffeine-habituated individuals can experience "caffeine withdrawal" 12–24 hours after the last dose of caffeine. It resolves within 24–48 hours. The most prominent symptom is headache. They can also feel anxiety, fatigue, drowsiness and depression.

John's Vision in Revelation 13!

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority." Revelation 13:1-2
"And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."
"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"
"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months."
"And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven."
"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Revelation 13:3-8
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." Revelation 13:17-18

Daniel's Vision in Daniel 7!

"Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea."
"And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another."
"The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it."
"And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh."
"After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it."
"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns."
"I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things." Daniel 7:2-8
"I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them" Daniel 7:21
"And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings."
"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Daniel 7:24-25.
In my next blog we will tackle the other view of this topic. About the vision of the beast by john the revelator and we will try to compare the two beast in this two books of the bible! for the mean time!

Eating pork!!

for other christian eating pork is not a big deal, but for me that believed in health ministry is a big deal, and it is really important to me to avoid this! there is religion forbid this like Islam because:
This is detailed in verses 2:173, 5:3, 6:145, and 16:115 of the Qur'an. An exemplary verse is quoted here: "He has only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and any (food) over which the name of other than Allah has been invoked. But if one is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

is the consumtion of pork only for muslim?
Is Pork Forbidden to Muslims Only?
The Jews and Christians are also forbidden from eating pork. Here is a quote from the Old Testament to that effect: "And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase." Deuteronomy 14:8
Many Christians believe that this verse was directed only at the Jews. But Jesus himself says during the Sermon on the Mount; "Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." Some Christians say that, after a vision by St. Peter, God cleansed all animals and made them fit and lawful for human consumption. If ALL animals are cleansed by Peter's vision, this includes dogs, cats, vultures, and rats: but you just don't see people getting excited about a cat-meat sandwich like they do over barbecued pork or bacon. Others say that it was Paul who rescinded the law forbidding pork to humans, in order to appease the Romans, who enjoyed the taste of pig-meat. Many excuses have been given, but none are very sound.
Many Far Eastern traditions also discourage the eating of pork. The 3,000 year old Confucian Book of Rites says, "Agentleman does not eat the flesh of pigs and dogs." Although many Chinese are avid eaters of pork today, physicians of ancient China recognized pork-eating as the root of many human ailments. Buddhists, Jains and Hindus usually avoid eating any kind of meat.

and what is effect of this which is bad!?

Bad effects of pork consumption
Pig's bodies contain many toxins, worms and latent diseases. Although some of these infestations are harbored in other animals, modern veterinarians say that pigs are far more predisposed to these illnesses than other animals. This could be because pigs like to scavenge and will eat any kind of food, including dead insects, worms, rotting carcasses, excreta (including their own), garbage, and other pigs.
Influenza (flu) is one of the most famous illnesses which pigs share with humans. This illness is harbored in the lungs of pigs during the summer months and tends to affect pigs and humans in the cooler months. Sausage contains bits of pigs' lungs, so those who eat pork sausage tend to suffer more during epidemics of influenza. Pig meat contains excessive quantities of histamine and imidazole compounds, which can lead to itching and inflammation; growth hormone, which promotes inflammation and growth; sulphur-containing mesenchymal mucus, which leads to swelling and deposits of mucus in tendons and cartilage, resulting in arthritis, rheumatism, etc.
Sulfur helps cause firm human tendons and ligaments to be replaced by the pig's soft mesenchymal tissues, and degeneration of human cartilage. Eating pork can also lead to gallstones and obesity, probably due to its high cholesterol and saturated fat content. The pig is the main carrier of the taenia solium worm, which is found it its flesh. These tapeworms are found in human intestines with greater frequency in nations where pigs are eaten. This type of tapeworm can pass through the intestines and affect many other organs, and is incurable once it reaches beyond a certain stage. One in six people in the US and Canada has trichinosis from eating trichina worms which are found in pork. Many people have no symptoms to warn them of this, and when they do, they resemble symptoms of many other illnesses. These worms are not noticed during meat inspections, nor are they killed by salting or smoking. Few people cook the meat long enough to kill the trichinae. The rat (another scavenger) also harbors this disease. There are dozens of other worms, germs, diseases and bacteria which are commonly found in pigs, many of which are specific to the pig, or found in greater frequency in pigs.
Pigs are biologically similar to humans, and their meat is said to taste similar to human flesh. Pigs have been used for dissection in biology labs due to the similarity between their organs and human organs. People with insulin-dependent diabetes usually inject themselves with pig insulin.

be kind to animals, we are created by God and design to eat fruit and vegetables, we allow only to eat pork after the flood, because there is no plants after the flood!

and that is the message of SDA, to learn more visit http://www.themodernreligion.com/misc/hh/pork.html and see for yourself. be kind to animals God loves them!
